Imogen Kesteven
Imogen Kesteven passed away in 1998. Her brother Nathan and his wife Jessica wanted to carry on her legacy of caring for the environment when they bought “Imogen’s Farm” in 1999. They began by starting to regenerate the property, and they planted hundreds of farm-forestry trees.

Douglas and Christine Kesteven (Nathan’s parents) previously grew hydroponic lettuce in Toowoomba, and ran “The Deli Byron” in Byron Bay (where “Mokka” is now). They moved to the property in 2003, and began to develop their vineyard and the farmstay while Nathan and Jessica were away for five years working (and starting their family) in the Torres Strait.
