Farmstay cabins
Bring the whole family to experience life on a farm in the lush hinterland of Byron Bay, or book our farmstay for your own event.
At Imogen’s Farm we grow wine grapes, beef cattle and Australian native rainforest and eucalypt trees for timber. We also have chickens, vegetable gardens and fruit and nut trees. A bush regenerator works on the property regularly, and we are active in Landcare in the local area.
The farmstay includes a fully-equipped kitchen, a herb garden, a large lounge room and three guest rooms with ensuites. The buildings containing the guest rooms were relocated from Belongil Beach, Byron Bay, where they were being removed to make way for a new development. The cabin verandahs look out over a rainforest grove. On the edge of the grove is a renovated piggery, which is great for weddings, parties, yoga or relaxing on a hot day. Recycled wood has been used for most of the farmstay additions, and there is solar hot water and gas for cooking. All wastes on the property are recycled and composted (where possible).
The “queen room” has a large, private verandah. The shower and toilet features a mosaic floor by Scott Harrower, a local mosaic artist. This cabin has a queen-sized bed and a double sofa bed.
The two double rooms have a large, shared verandah and each has a shower and toilet, a double and a single bed.
Extra single mattresses are available upon request.
Dunoon village is a ten minute drive from the farm. It has a well stocked local store, a post office and garage. As well the Sports Club in Dunoon has a family-friendly restaurant with great food, open Wednesday to Saturday.
