Imogen’s Farm Winery @ The Lantern Parade 26 June 2010

Lantern Parade (Lismore, 26 June 2010)

Lantern Parade (Lismore, 26 June 2010)

Christine and Douglas Kesteven had a great time at their Lantern Parade stall.  They were in the perfect position: close enough to the band stage to see all the acts; far enough away to hear the customers (just!); and next to the Mayfields Restaurant (Dunoon) stall (where Kristen, Terry, Scott and co. also did a roaring trade).
There were “guest selling appearances” by Chris and John of Jagera (Whian Whian jaboticaba growers), Mark Whinton (The Channon), Nathan and Jessica. Customers were most interested in the local drops: Jaboticaba*, Chambourcin and Limoncello, although stocks of all the wines plus the lime cordial now need to be replenished….
Thanks to all who visited the stall!
*Three visitors from Brazil particularly enjoyed this one.

Bumper grape harvest at Imogen’s Farm Winery

Thanks for your help!

Grape harvest @ Imogen's Farm 30 Jan 2010

The rain stayed away just long enough for us to harvest the grapes on 30 January 2010.  While picking we were pleasantly surprised by a visit from David Nielsen, a photojournalist from The Northern Star.  It was a bumper harvest, but all the grapes were picked and de-stemmed before midday, as we had many enthusiastic volunteers!  While Christine and Douglas treated everyone to a sumptuous lunch, the rain poured down.

Afternoon of Music, Wine and Photography

On 5 July 2009, Imogen’s Farm and Sound22 hosted an afternoon of wine, music and photography.  Matt Hill, Greg Sheehan and Laura Targett performed while the guests enjoyed wine, tasting plates and an exhibition of photographs by Walkley Award winning Dunoon photographer Martin Jacka.
